Can we bring our customers and jobs from our old system?
Yes. Send us a spreadsheet export of your contacts and jobs and we import it for you. Enterprise plans include a full migration from your previous CRM.
Which manufacturers’ price books do you support?
Window and door lines are built in today, with every series, size and option priced from the manufacturer’s list. Need another line? [List supported manufacturers here], or ask and we’ll load yours.
Who can see what?
Admins and office staff see every customer and job. Inside and outside sales reps see their own customers, plus any their team shares with them.
These rules are enforced by the database itself, not just hidden in the screens.
What happens when a rep leaves?
An admin switches their account off and hands their customers to someone else in one step. Their conversations and history move with the customers, so nothing is lost.
Does it work on a phone in the customer’s home?
Yes. The estimator and the board work in a phone or tablet browser, so reps can measure, photograph each opening and quote on site.
Do emails come from our own address?
Yes. You verify your domain once, and every email goes out from your company address with your logo, colours and each rep’s signature. Replies come back into the shared inbox.
Why does texting need a registration?
US carriers require every business that texts customers to register its brand and how it uses texting (known as 10DLC). We do the paperwork in BoomCrm with you. Approval usually takes [a few days to two weeks].
Who gets notified when a customer texts or emails?
You choose in settings: the customer’s rep, the rep plus whoever the conversation is assigned to, or everyone. Messages from unknown numbers always reach the whole office, so nothing sits unanswered.
